CANDLE CARE

Always trim your wick to 1/4 inch before each and every use.

Only burn candles away from drafts, pets and children, all which can cause drafts or knock over a burning candle causing damage and injury.

Never leave a candle unattended. Most house fires caused by candles happen because the owner falls asleep with it lit or a pet or child accidentally knocks it over. Please be safe!

Only burn candles on a sturdy, heat resistant surface. We recommend using a coaster or trivet. Candles can get hot and will burn a lot of common material such as wood, laminate, painted surfaces, etc. If you are not sure about a particular surface, please contact us.

Avoid burning a lit candle on a hot stove or within a foot or less of electronic devices. Many household items are flammable and can melt from the heat. The added heat from the stove or electronics may cause the candle to unsafely burn faster and unevenly, while also making the glass jar dangerously hot to touch.

Avoid moving a candle while it is burning or right after extinguishing it. Ensure the wax has fully hardened before handling, as hot wax can cause burns and lead to potential damage.

Never extinguish a burning candle with water; always use a snuffer or an appropriate method to put it out safely.
